Peppermint (Mentha piperita) thrives in humid areas and is particularly common in temperate climates. Its main active ingredients are menthol and terpenes.

Bionutra Organic Peppermint Oil is obtained purely naturally through the distillation of organic peppermint leaves. This process, which is carried out without the use of chemicals, gives the product its organic, food-grade quality.

Conventional peppermint oils have a cooling effect and are used to relieve headaches and muscle tension. Other terpenes such as menthone and camphor give the plant its characteristic scent, which is also used in aromatherapy and massage oils.

Our peppermint oil can also be taken orally, for example for oral hygiene or as a beverage flavoring, as it is produced under food-grade criteria.

Pure essential oil of peppermint leaves (Mentha Piperita)

50 ml of peppermint oil corresponds to approximately 1700 drops

Fresh peppermint leaves were extracted by steam distillation. Small amounts of highly concentrated peppermint oil are obtained without solvents or chemicals.

The dosage:

The dosage of peppermint oil depends on several factors, including the intended use and individual tolerance.
It is important to note that peppermint oil should only be taken diluted, preferably like a natural flavoring.
