Chlorella (Chlorella vulgaris) are bright green freshwater microalgae and are among the most sustainable and environmentally friendly food sources on our planet. Within their round cells, rich natural nutrients such as B vitamins (e.g., folic acid) and minerals (e.g., iron) are formed and stored. By mechanically breaking their cell membranes, these nutrients can be released for human consumption.
Chlorella is easy to take in tablet form. It is recommended to take it during a main meal and with sufficient fluid intake. For chlorella powder, it is important that the algae's cell membranes are already mechanically broken to facilitate digestion of the nutrients. The powder is perfect for mixed drinks or as an ingredient in baking. Chlorella is often taken in combination with spirulina to combine the nutrients of both algae.
Organic Chlorella (Chlorella Pyrenoidosa), broken membrane

One pack of Chlorella powder from Bionutra contains 250 g of powder.
It is recommended to consume 3-5 g per day with plenty of fluids. It can also be used as a supplement in combination with organic spirulina.
Our Chlorella powders are 100% natural and membrane-broken (without binders, fillers or additives).

The dosage varies depending on your needs, so it is recommended to start with a lower dose.
Chlorella appears to offer a wide range of beneficial properties for pregnant and breastfeeding women. This ranges from providing a good supply of nutrients, which is very important during pregnancy, to reducing the transmission of maternal dioxin to the child.
The bag is made of kraft paper, a layer of aluminum and a layer of PET inside.
Chlorella and spirulina are both algae, but they differ in their composition and health benefits. Chlorella is a rounded freshwater algae with a tough cell membrane rich in chlorophyll and nucleic acids. Spirulina, on the other hand, is found in both salt and freshwater, has a spiral structure, and is characterized by its high protein and phycocyanin content.
Chlorella naturally contains sulfites. Some people may experience side effects such as gastrointestinal upset, bloating, or allergic reactions. It's advisable to start with a low dose and increase it slowly.
